Campaign Overview
In May 2026, voters within the Hood River Valley Parks & Recreation District approved a capital bond to rebuild the Aquatic Center and an operations levy to support parks, trails, the pool, and recreation services.
The bond will pay for a basic Aquatic Center rebuild. Think pools, deck, locker rooms, and lobby. The Foundation is leading a $2 million capital campaign to provide enhancements for family fun and year round enjoyment beyond what the bond will cover.
We need your support to make our pool the extraordinary facility that our community deserves.
Every gift moves us forward.
Proposed Enhancements
Donors have the opportunity to support three distinct areas. Funds raised will be allocated towards some of the enhancements mentioned, though it may not cover all of them.
The final amenity package will be determined by the contributions received before the design and budget are finalized. Contributing now will help ensure that this resource remains special for generations to come.

Proposed concept includes water play features, gradual entry, and optional lap lane. Exact design will depend on how much money is raised for pool enhancements and the final design process, including community input.
